FairFund is a structured delivery system of major funding in response to grass roots initiatives for enterprise and development in the poorer regions of the world.

FairFund operates totally in the private sector; it is not reliant on any special services or arrangements with financial institutions, government agencies or NGOs.

The FairFund Foundation was officially launched at the G8: Business Action for Africa Conference in The Brewery, London, on the 6th July, 2005.

The FairFund Foundation is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee in the UK and Ireland and member of the Commonwealth Business Council.

The FairFund’s inaugural Honorary Life Governor is the Most Reverend Desmond Tutu.
